Job Title : Finance Manager

Salary : 115,000

Location : Nashville Tennessee

Remote Flexibility: None, Fully Onsite

The Finance Manager is responsible for working hand-in-hand with the leadership team, managing the daily financial and employee operations of the company. This role will eventually grow into a CFO position (within 1 to 2 years); with 2 to 3 direct reports.


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with experience in a small business or corporation
* Master's degree is a plus
* Experience in an event company is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work on a team, assisting others with financial management (for client events)
* Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
* Strong organizational skills with recognizable attention to detail and creativity
* Ability to see issues prior to them becoming a crisis
* Ability to manage a CPA, as needed (i.e. tax preparation and filings)
* Full comprehension of corporate tax structure, including ways to mitigate tax spend while remaining government compliant
* Strong computer skills with hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint Access and Outlook)
* Must reside in Nashville, TN or be willing to relocate (relocation fee applicable)

* Monthly Bookkeeping, including:
* AP + AR
* Invoicing
* Event Closeouts (with Operations Leads)
* Commission Calculation + Payment (CSO, DOS, Others)
* Service Agreement Financial Management
* Budgeting, Cash Flow, Forecasting, Cost Benefit Analysis, etc.
* Any additional reporting as needed or requested
* Payroll Management, via Quickbooks
* 401k Vendor Management and Compliance
* Manage Com
* Monthly reconciliation for:
* Citi American Airlines Credit Card (FVS Only)
* Chase Ink Credit Card (Entire Team)
* American Express Credit Card (FVS + Finance Manager Only)
* Morganton Savings Bank (Checking + Savings)
* Expensify (Entire Team)
* Internal and External (billable) expenses
* Sales + Use Tax Payments
* Corporate Tax Return
* Federal + State Filings
* Annual Reports
* Monitor and process the company's inquiry email address
* PTO + Time Tracking via T-Sheets
* Co-manage policies with a leadership team including: Travel policy, expense policy, onboarding documentation and other compliance policies as they arise
* If capable, strategic thinking with the leadership on overall business operations, financial goals, staffing strategy, etc.
Ability to grow into a CFO position, managing 1 to 2 accountants within 12 to 24 months
