Consulting Project Manager - Job Description

The Consulting Project Manager position is in charge of managing implementations of NetSuite Cloud ERP and providing functional consulting. NetSuite ERP covers a wide footprint including Procurement, Inventory, Costing, Demand Planning, BOM, WIP, Sales Orders, Shipping, Project Management, Services Resource Planning and Financials functional areas. The Consulting Project Manager will evaluate the needs of the client, develop innovative plans to find solutions to their problems, and implement these plans to the client's satisfaction. Candidate must have a passion for helping clients find creative ways to solve business problems and more effectively run their businesses. Constantly improving the satisfaction and loyalty of our clients must be a top priority. Candidate needs to be able to work with aggressive timelines and a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities :

* Creating and working with a detailed plan to complete project activities
* Running business process discussions and business requirements
* Recognize gaps between requirements and standard system functionality
* Recognize any required customizations and working with development team through development, testing and deployment
* Guiding/performing data conversions
* Facilitating/leading testing preparation and execution
* Facilitating/leading training
* Maintaining detailed project documentation
* Preparing and communicating project status

Desired Skills and Experience :

* Ideal candidate would have implementation experience in NetSuite or other ERP applications such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Epicor, Deltek or Infor
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business
* 5+ years implementing Manufacturing / Supply Chain / Financials software, ideally with a software or consulting / partner firm
* Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative
* Customer relationship acumen and experienced consulting skills
* Experience with software in a SaaS environment including accounting, Sales Force automation, marketing campaigns, and web presence
* Experience with change management in support of or in conjunction with a major IT/business initiative.
* Travel: up to 25%
