A client of mine in Los Angeles is seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of accounting and finance who will work closely with leadership to help us grow a flourishing DTC business.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for all areas of general ledger accounting and reporting:
Ensure efficient revenue and collection cycle for DTC (through Shopify and Amazon integration) and wholesale B2B business.
Ensuring supplier invoices, credit cards and expenses are approved, posted and paid on a timely basis.
Ensuring accurate and timely inventory cycle (purchase order, a/p, inventory and cost of sales reporting.
Prepare cash flow forecast to manage cash cycle pro-actively identifying any issues.
Reconciliation of cash and balance sheet accounts.
Process bi-weekly payroll and assist with administration of employee insurance and 401K.
Monthly close process within 3 business days.
Preparing month end financials and KPI reporting.
Work closely with the outsourced CFO on monthly close and financials, strategic finance and accounting issues and supporting annual and long-range financial planning, including monthly financial forecasting cycles.
Supporting the broader organization (including Production, Merchandising, and Marketing, among others).

Skills/Qualifications
Bachelors' degree in accounting.
Experience with NetSuite
Advanced excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, etc, - comfortable working with larges amount of data.
Experience in consumer goods preferred
