This client is a billion-dollar business running one of the biggest NetSuite installations globally. They are looking for a Senior NetSuite Functional Specialist with a strong accounting background and a solid understanding of financial processes to join their Financial Systems team based in the US.

What You'll Do

* Design and implement high quality solutions within NetSuite and Blackline
* Influence product roadmap decisions for NetSuite and Blackline
* Troubleshoot process, application, and functional issues. Manage these through to resolution
* Project manage initiatives from inception through delivery
* Grow your technical and functional expertise in NetSuite and other financial SaaS systems
* Train and guide our NetSuite end-users
* Support and mentor the Financial Systems team in advanced accounting concepts
* Learn new SaaS and backend technologies to support our Finance ecosystem

Who You Are

* 6+ years of experience with NetSuite configuration in large complex environments
* 2+ years of experience with Blackline configuration
* Strong functional experience with financial/accounting processes in NetSuite including RTR, PTP, and OTC in multi-subsidiary/currency environments
* Demonstrated knowledge of financial close processes in publicly traded companies as well as associated close automation and reconciliation solutions
* Excellent investigation and diagnostic skills
* Ability to build sound relationships and clearly communicate expectations with team members and stakeholders
* Proven track record with influencing strategy, tactics, and execution
* Growth mindset and excited about learning new things
* Familiar with SOX frameworks and ITGCs
* Experience with agile development methodologies
* Strong preference: CPA or equivalent accounting experience
