We are partnering with a prominent technology solutions firm specializing in comprehensive insurance and human resources software platforms. Based in the central business hub of the Metropolitan Business Center Area, our partner is a privately-owned enterprise boasting a significant market presence with over $100M in revenue and a robust profitability track record. Position Summary
The firm seeks a seasoned VP of Accounting with a background in the SaaS space. The chosen candidate will be responsible for spearheading the finance and accounting tasks of a prominent SaaS firm located in the bustling Metropolitan Business Center Area. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the company's financial strategies, NetSuite ERP oversight, implementing new policies and procedures, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct and elevate the organization's financial and accounting spectrum, enhancing business processes, strategies, financial objectives, and systems to foster growth and refine fiscal performance.
* Administer financial operations, encompassing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more.
* Command the accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial closures, invoicing activities, corporate taxation, and annual financial audits.
* Lead financial planning and analysis activities, collaborating with the CEO to pinpoint and scrutinize vital business ARR, revenue streams, and expenditure trends.
* Facilitate comprehensive reporting duties, delivering insights to the CEO, executive leadership, Board of Directors, and investors on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Participate actively in strategic capital raising initiatives in conjunction with the executive team.
* Advance procedural and documentation standards, instigate changes when necessary, and raise the reporting bar for the enterprise.
* Guide, mentor, and cultivate the finance and accounting team, promoting professional development.
* Engage with external partners, including tax advisors and auditors, managing these critical relationships.
* Essential Qualifications:
Requirements
* Preference for CPA certification.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field is mandatory.
* 5+ Years in Senior Level Accounting position at SaaS Company
* Previous NetSuite Implementation experience preferred
* 3+ Years NetSuite Financials experience required
