My client is a growing consumer goods company located in Manhattan that is looking to bring on an Assistant Controller. Job Description:
The Assistant controller position will be an integral part of the accounting team and report directly into the Controller. This person should have a strong grasp of accounting principles, experience preparing financial statements, ability to work autonomously, and manage 2 junior level accountants.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee A/R and A/P departments
* Leverage NetSuite to create efficiencies
* Oversee 2 direct reports
* Assist in annual audit's and facilitate requests
* Assist in developing internal controls, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
* Consumer Products Industry Experience (eCommerce preferred)
* NetSuite ERP Experience (2+ years)
* Month-End Close Experience
* 7+ years overall accounting experience
* BA/BS in Accounting or Equivalent Experience
