Anderson Frank is an international specialist in NetSuite recruitment. We have partnered with a renowned client in the gourmet confectionery industry, whose identity remains confidential due to business discretion. They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee their financial operations and management.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Controller will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all accounting operations of the company, including budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
2. Developing and maintaining timely and accurate financial statements and reports appropriate for users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
3. Establishing and maintaining financial controls with the finance department.
4. Collaborating with the executive management team to develop financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations.
5. Ensuring the timely completion of annual financial audits and tax returns.
6. Working closely with the operations team to enhance and better integrate operations, finance, and systems processes.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
* Experience in the food & beverage or manufacturing sector is a plus.
* Proven expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting.
* Expertise in NetSuite ERP is mandatory.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing a team.
* Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
