Job Overview:

My client is seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and team management. The Senior Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.



Financial Leadership:

* Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and contribute to overall business strategy.
* Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.


Financial Reporting:

* Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.


Team Management:

* Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing training and development.


Budgeting and Forecasting:

* Manage the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
* Develop and maintain financial models for accurate forecasting and decision-making.


Audit and Compliance:

* Coordinate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve audit queries.
* Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.


Process Improvement:

* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in a senior-level accounting role
* Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
