Job Description:
Our client is in search of an exceptional Accounting Manager with a strong command of NetSuite to oversee their financial operations and lead their accounting team to new heights. This position is of utmost confidentiality and requires a candidate who will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial success while maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Direct and oversee all aspects of the company's financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions, utilizing your NetSuite expertise to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities, leveraging NetSuite to streamline processes.
* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, utilizing NetSuite's reporting capabilities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze financial data, provide valuable insights, and support decision-making processes, leveraging NetSuite's robust reporting tools.
* Monitor financial performance, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them, drawing insights from NetSuite's financial analysis features.
* Take charge of the year-end financial audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, utilizing NetSuite's audit functionalities.
* Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud, utilizing NetSuite's security features.
* Stay updated with industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant and optimized, utilizing NetSuite's continuous updates.
* Mentor and inspire the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, growth, and collaboration, and provide training on NetSuite functionalities as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a significant advantage.
* Proven experience 5 in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the software or technology sector.
* Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
* Strong proficiency in NetSuite and experience with other financial software and ERP systems.
* Excellent leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and inspiring teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
* Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial matters.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
