An esteemed organization specializing in cancer care and equipment space is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join its dedicated team. As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will oversee various accounting functions and ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include:


* Integrating payroll data between ADP and NetSuite on a bi-weekly basis.
* Maintaining the general ledger and processing journals as required.
* Conducting daily bank reconciliations and postings.
* Analyzing and reviewing percent of completion for projects and revenue recognition.
* Coordinating and supporting inventory analysis with Production and SmartDoor Teams.
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and capital/fixed assets on a monthly basis.
* Ensuring timely completion of month-end and year-end processes.
* Monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports with causal information.
* Enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
* Assisting with annual audit activities and implementing corrective actions.
* Supporting annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasts.
* Monitoring and analyzing project profitability for active projects.


* Executing monthly billing activities in accordance with contract documents.
* Completing billing forms as specified by the contract.
* Tracking payment status, researching past due invoices, and collaborating on collection activities.
* Generating reports for analyzing outstanding receivables.

Accounts Payable:

* Reviewing automated AP data prior to import and posting in NetSuite.
* Organizing, reviewing, analyzing, and coding transactions not processed through AP Automation.
* Filing annual 1099 forms.
* Monitoring cash flow data on a weekly basis.


* Collaborating with the Sr. Business Analyst to streamline accounting functions and reports.
* Serving as a NetSuite Power User for Financial Operations.
* Assisting team members with NetSuite usage when necessary.
* Providing support to the Estimator in developing proper costing budgets.

Team Engagement:

* Actively participating in scheduled meetings and cross-functional team initiatives.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts as a representative of the organization.
* Engaging in community events when possible.
* Demonstrating a positive attitude, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.
* Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to support the team.

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 6 years of experience.
* Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
