Job Description

My client, a leading global non profit organization, is seeking a skilled Director of Financial Systems to build and lead their newly created Systems and Integrations team.

Role & Responsibilities

* Support the implementation of new management platforms, and integrate regional offices' financial systems onto a single platform.
* Manage complex projects in a challenging environment, providing support to Finance teams in change management efforts from solution creation to strategic oversight.
* Act as a key liaison for financial systems supporting regional programs, providing guidance to local finance teams on improving processes and resolving ad-hoc challenges.
* Establish a knowledge management practice for existing and new integration processes, creating a framework for continuous improvement and information access.

* Manage multiple vendor relationships in partnership with IT, including performance analysis.
* Foster a collaborative environment for innovative thinking to solve issues and identify gaps in policies and practices.
* Manage a team on consultants

Skills & Qualifications

* Progressive leadership experience in Finance and MIS (within a multinational organization) with depth of experience in financial systems.
* Depth of technical MIS expertise in NetSuite, Concur, and Workday (Adaptive/HCM)
* Working knowledge of SUN Systems, Fresh Service, PowerBI, Microsoft SharePoint, and various Salesforce platforms is an advantage.
* Experience in managing complex financial systems and integration projects with diverse remits in an international organization.
* Proven experience in project management, project risk management, and change management; project management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is an advantage.
* Proven people leadership experience - either with indirect teams or direct teams.
* Ability to set and reset strategic priorities in an ever-changing ecosystem.
* Efficiently manage work and staff in a fast-paced environment, research financial data, troubleshoot and follow through on projects to completion, with strong attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.
* Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise reports and compelling presentations.
* Excellent computer and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, BI reporting tools, and cloud-based platforms, with experience in internet research and database management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to modulate tone and method depending on the audience.
