Anderson Frank’s latest Careers and Hiring Guide has officially launched, with one big noticeable difference for its 2023/24 edition.

Now in its seventh year, the annual publication has previously been available as a printed guide at cloud events around the world. However, the NetSuite community has made it clear that it wants to have a more positive impact on the planet… which is why the full version of the guide has now moved fully online.

Whether you’re looking for analysis and insight from platform experts, to the results from our survey (the biggest of its kind featuring NetSuite professionals) covering over 28,000 data points—it’s now all included on our simple to navigate mini-site.

Packed full of the latest data containing the sentiments of the cloud community, it remains the go-to resource for shaping NetSuite employers’ hiring strategies and informing professionals’ career decisions.

“Making a positive impact on the planet isn’t just the right thing for us to do as a business but it also echoes the sentiments of the NetSuite community,” said Kashif Naqshbandi, Chief Marketing Officer at Anderson Frank. “The way we’ve re-imagined this year’s guide has involved a lot of hard work behind the scenes, and we’ve been able to present it online in such an accessible way that I’m confident this will be an even greater addition to the NetSuite community than its predecessor was.”

Salary Data

Salary information is still available through the guide’s Key Findings publication, which is available to download from the Career and Hiring Guide mini-site. It’s traditionally been a favourite part of the guide, helping professionals gauge their market value, as well as providing employers with a way to help benchmark their teams’ salaries.

“We know that our salary tables are one of the first things that people look for in the guide, as it’s around this time of year I begin to get asked by our customers when the next guide is coming out as they look towards conducting pay reviews! So, we’ve still retained all the data that people have come to know and love from the guide, but re-imagined in a much more accessible format.”

What other data should you look out for in the new edition? Employee and employer sentiment on remote work is particularly interesting. As the dust has settled on the events of the last few years, it seems the needle is continuing to shift. Over a third of professionals, 36%, would prefer to be fully remote in this year’s guide, with 41% of employers offering this. Furthermore, 84% of employers suggested that their remote workers were either meeting or exceeding expectations.

Benefits remain a hot topic beyond homeworking, as candidates continue to reassess what’s important to them. After all, surely a company laptop is no longer considered a perk if it’s essential to working from home? And do on-site gyms or free city parking hold as much appeal to a workforce that’s no longer on site?

Where the NetSuite Community is

Diversity also throws up some interesting statistics in this year’s guide. When asked if their employer paid men and women equally, 68% of male respondents agreed that they did, compared to just 51% of women who answered the question. So, despite broad agreement (83% men, 82% women) that these two genders are equally represented in the workforce, it suggests there is still more to be done.

“There are plenty of talking points contained within the pages of the guide,” added Naqshbandi. “As ever, we’ve compiled this incredibly in-depth resource to add value to jobseekers looking to make more informed career decisions, but it also undoubtedly helps organizations create better and fairer working environments for the professionals they employ. As the tech community continues to tackle some its historical ‘weak spots’ such as diversity, being able to take a snapshot of the ecosystem like this is invaluable.”

With a range of other data covering subjects including certifications, platform trends, and why jobseekers look for new opportunities, as well as career spotlights offering advice for professionals, and insights from a range of experts for employers and employees alike, it remains the go-to resource for anyone connected to the NetSuite community.
