    Our client is an American company that produces office furniture, equipment, and home furnishings. Its best known designs include 11 of the best known design brands within their vertical. The have been on NetSuite for 4 years and have since merged with another organization that is also on NetSuite. Their Accounting & Finance team relies heavily on NetSuite's capabilities and they are a very important client to Oracle.

    Requirements



    * Knowledge of ERP System - NetSuite is a must
    * Ensure that inventory is properly valued and appropriately reserved under US GAAP.
    * Maintain SOX controls and processes related to inventory & COGS.
    * Prepare monthly reconciliations for all inventory related accounts and other GL accounts.
    * Prepare monthly journal entries related to inventory and COGS to record inventory movement, shrink, and accruals for inventory in-transit.
    * Prepare various general ledger reconciliations and accruals related to month end close.
    * Cross train on other GL and AP functions.
    * Assist/Prepare in the scheduling of annual physical inventory counts, review cycle count results, and investigate variances as needed across our US fleet of locations for HM, DWR, HAY & Outlets.
    * Review daily inventory activity.
    * Work closely with multiple departments and warehouses.
    * Assist with inventory audits and other aspects of compliance.
    * Identify and implement process and performance improvements.
    Special projects as needed.
