    Key Responsibilities

    * Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
    * Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    * Manage and develop the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    * Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, reporting, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
    * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
    * Drive process improvements and system optimization, leveraging NetSuite to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
    * Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other key financial initiatives.

    Desired Qualifications

    * Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience within a wholesale, consumer products, or consumer goods environment.
    * Strong NetSuite experience with a track record of driving process improvements and financial controls.
    * Proven ability to balance strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on accounting execution.

    REMOTE Controller Opporunity

    A rapidly growing, private equity-backed SaaS organization is seeking a Global Controller to join its executive finance team. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to help shape the financial infrastructure of a global software company entering its next phase of growth.

    The organization operates internationally and is focused on driving operational excellence, scalability, and profitability through process improvement, automation, and emerging technologies. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner while maintaining ownership of the global accounting function.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the global accounting organization, including controllership, audit, tax, treasury, and financial systems.
    * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including multi-entity consolidations.
    * Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
    * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting standards.
    * Coordinate and manage external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.
    * Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    * Partner with finance teams across multiple countries and time zones to support global reporting initiatives.
    * Support M&A activities, including due diligence, purchase accounting considerations, integration planning, and post-acquisition financial processes.
    * Collaborate closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and board-level presentations.
    * Evaluate and optimize financial systems, reporting platforms, and accounting workflows.
    * Lead initiatives focused on automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
    * Present financial results, trends, and insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred.
    * Active CPA designation required.
    * 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
    * Strong experience within SaaS or technology organizations.
    * Deep understanding of revenue recognition under ASC 606.
    * Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP, including system optimization and reporting.
    * Experience supporting multi-entity and international accounting environments.
    * Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, business combinations, stock-based compensation, debt, and foreign currency transactions.
    * Proven experience leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
    * Experience managing audits, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
    * Exposure to private equity-backed environments is strongly preferred.
    * M&A and acquisition integration experience is highly desirable.
    * Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and scale accounting operations in a high-growth environment.
    * Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership.
