What steps should you take to become a Financial Controller?

Education

Two-thirds (67%) of Financial Controllers we surveyed hold at least a Bachelor’s degree. All Financial Controllers that took part in the survey consider a degree to be an important factor in working with NetSuite, but only 33% consider a degree an to be necessary for increasing earning potential.

Certification

Two-thirds (67%) of Financial Controllers are certified, while all believe that certifications help to make you a more valuable professional.

Of the certified Financial Controllers we surveyed, 100% hold the NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification, while 50% also hold the NetSuite Financial User Certification.
