Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support our Corporate Controller in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.

Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly profit and loss packages.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances.
*

Analyze and maintain budget data, providing insights and recommendations.
*

Support internal departments and liaise with external auditors during financial audits.
*

Reconcile bank and credit card transactions, including corporate credit card activity.
*

Review and process journal entries, including reclassifications when necessary.
*

Act as point of contact with credit card providers for transaction inquiries.
*

Assist in acquisition-related training, reporting, and financial integration.
*

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, documentation, and reporting systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA preferred).
*

Experience in a company with $500M+ in annual revenue.
*

Strong background in multi-location financial consolidations.
*

Proficient in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros).
*

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
*

Industry experience in retail, shipping, receiving, or distribution a strong plus.
*

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to gather and synthesize data across multiple systems for accurate reporting.
