Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with strong NetSuite skills to join our finance team at a healthcare organization. This role is responsible for managing insurance collections, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition. The ideal candidate has a background in healthcare AR, particularly working with insurance providers, and is confident navigating NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage insurance claims, follow up on outstanding balances, and handle denials.

Maintain accurate AR records in NetSuite, including applying payments and generating aging reports.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding claim status, payments, and outstanding balances.
*

Support monthly close and reporting activities related to AR.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in AR, medical billing, or insurance collections, preferably in elderly healthcare.
*

Proficiency with NetSuite is required.
*

Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing processes.
*

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
