Ready to level up your accounting career? I'm partnering with a fast-growing, high-impact global brand portfolio company that's expanding its team and looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy.
Job Responsibilities:
* Research and analyze technical accounting issues for new and proposed transactions.
* Lead purchase accounting, integration, and valuation assessments for M&A activity.
* Monitor and interpret ASC, SEC, and regulatory updates; assess financial reporting impact.
* Partner cross-functionally to ensure proper accounting for significant and unusual transactions.
* Coordinate with external auditors to resolve technical accounting matters efficiently.
* Support month-end close for complex and nonrecurring transactions.
* Collaborate with finance, tax, treasury, legal, and other teams on accounting issues.
* Draft technical accounting memos and position papers on complex matters.
* Manage valuation processes (409A, acquisitions, goodwill, trademarks) and annual impairment testing.
* Develop and enforce accounting policies across the organization.
* Execute ad hoc technical accounting projects as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
* CPA and Big 4 Public Accounting Experience Required
* U.S. GAAP, FASB, and SEC Requirements Required
