Position Overview
A rapidly growing provider of custom uniform programs is seeking a Director of Information Technology and Systems to lead technology strategy and operations across a dynamic, innovation-driven organization. This role will shape and execute IT initiatives, oversee enterprise systems, guide software development, and ensure robust cybersecurity. As part of the leadership team, the position will drive digital transformation and foster a high-performance culture supporting growth across multiple locations and a team of 90+ employees.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
* Build and mentor a high-performing IT and software development team.
* Promote collaboration, inclusion, and professional growth.
* Implement succession planning and development programs.
* Act as a strategic partner across all business functions.
Technology Strategy
* Define and execute an IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
* Drive digital transformation and evaluate emerging technologies.
* Partner with executives to integrate technology into organizational vision.
Enterprise Systems
* Oversee architecture and optimization of ERP, CRM, HRIS, and financial systems.
* Ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
* Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
Software Development
* Provide strategic oversight of internal development teams.
* Manage the full SDLC and champion agile and DevOps practices.
* Foster innovation and technical excellence.
Security & Compliance
* Own cybersecurity strategy and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulations.
* Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Vendor & Infrastructure Management
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
* Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud services, and network reliability.
* Ensure scalability and high availability of systems.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
* Progressive IT leadership, including senior roles.
* Expertise in enterprise IT operations, software development, cloud, and cybersecurity.
* Proven success in strategic planning and team leadership.
* Experience in high-growth, tech-driven environments preferred.
* Bonus: Apparel, distribution, manufacturing, or eCommerce systems experience.
