A well-established, mission-driven organization in the Ann Arbor area is adding a Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This organization operates in the environmental and sustainability space and serves the local community through innovative programs and services.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on leveraging NetSuite ERP to enhance reporting, controls, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR payroll, and month-end close.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Own and optimize NetSuite functionality, reporting, and system improvements.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Controller or senior accounting leader
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit account standards
* Hands-on NetSuite experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance (CPA preferred)
