Finance Manager - Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

Role Summary
An established investment and operating enterprise with a diversified portfolio of manufacturing, industrial, and operating businesses is seeking a Finance Manager to support financial performance, cost accounting, and strategic decision-making across its investments. This role combines hands-on manufacturing finance responsibilities with broader financial planning, reporting, and operational partnership exposure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting, ERP systems, and business partnering within complex operational environments.
Responsibilities
* Lead manufacturing cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and raw material cost management.
* Partner with operations and leadership teams to analyze financial performance, improve profitability, and support key business initiatives.
* Support annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling activities.
* Develop and maintain financial reporting packages, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools.
* Monitor inventory, production costs, labor efficiencies, and operational performance metrics.
* Perform scenario analysis and business performance evaluations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
* Leverage ERP systems to improve financial visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational decision-making.
* Collaborate with accounting, operations, and executive leadership while supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant manufacturing cost accounting experience.
* CPA preferred; active CPA candidates will also be considered.
* Experience with large ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
