Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT)
Position Summary:
The VP of IT will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology operations, including infrastructure, enterprise applications (e.g., ERP), cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT strategy alignment with business goals. This individual will lead a team of IT professionals and work cross-functionally with leadership teams across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and run the company's IT strategy to support long-term growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
* ERP Management: Oversee the management, optimization, and expansion of ERP systems (NetSuite) to support inventory, production, and financial processes. Ensure the ERP is fully integrated with manufacturing operations and other critical systems.
* Technology Infrastructure: Manage and enhance the company's technology infrastructure, including network systems, cloud services, and cybersecurity protocols.
* Data-Driven Insights: Implement data analytics and business intelligence strategies to provide insights for key stakeholders across departments.
* IT Project Management: Lead major technology projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Cybersecurity & Compliance: Develop and enforce IT security policies to protect company assets, data privacy, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
* Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
* Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain-driven environment.
* Strong experience managing ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar), with a focus on manufacturing, inventory, and financial modules.
* Experience leading digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
* experienced in project management, IT infrastructure development, and cybersecurity.
* Deep knowledge of ERP systems, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations.
* Familiarity with data analytics, reporting tools, and integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Boomi).
* Knowledge of industry compliance standards and best practices in cybersecurity.
* Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to influence and collaborate across various business units.
