Job Description:

If you're passionate about fashion, sports, entertainment, and media-and have a strong background in technical accounting-this opportunity could be your perfect fit! You will serve as an SME for complex accounting issues and maintain the companies accounting policies and procedures.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Research technical accounting for new/proposed transactions
* Assess impacts of ASC, SEC, and regulatory changes on financial reporting
* Support M&A purchase accounting, integration, and valuation
* Collaborate cross-functionally for timely, accurate accounting of significant transactions
* Aid external auditors and month-end close for complex deals
* Assist finance, treasury, tax, legal, and other teams on accounting issues
* Prepare technical memos and white papers
* Assist with valuations (409A, acquisitions, goodwill, trademarks) and impairment testing
* Update accounting policies and ensure company-wide compliance
* Perform ad hoc projects as needed
Skills& Qualifications:
* 4+ years of accounting experience
* 2+ "big four" public accounting experience
* Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA required
* Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and accounting best practices
