A global industrial technology organization is seeking a FinOps Technical Leader to drive the implementation and maturity of its Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) practice. This strategic and technical role will focus on optimizing cloud spend, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring financial accountability across technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

*

Lead and expand a FinOps practice, providing technical and financial guidance to engineers and stakeholders on cloud cost management and optimization.
*

Implement FinOps frameworks and tools to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud expenditures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
*

Develop and maintain reporting dashboards (Power BI or similar) to visualize usage, trends, and savings opportunities.
*

Define and track metrics to influence engineering teams on cloud cost efficiency best practices.
*

Partner with business units to build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
*

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve cloud financial performance.

Qualifications

Required:

*

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
*

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
*

5+ years of professional experience including:

*

2+ years working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
*

Strong background in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and cost optimization.
*

Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Preferred:

*

FinOps Practitioner or Cloud certification(s).
*

Advanced data analysis and reporting skills (SQL, data warehousing, or similar).
*

Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
*

Solid understanding of accounting principles and cloud consumption models.

Required Duties & Skills



* At least 10 years of NetSuite ERP experience
* Current or prior experience writing custom SuiteScript code
* Experience with NetSuite's Advanced Modules (ARM, Advanced Inventory, Advanced Manufacturing, WMS)
* Experience at large, enterprise publicly traded companies
* Experience with product-based organizations (Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale, etc.) is preferred
