    * This Accounting manager will be the sole accounting professional for the company and will oversee all accounting and finance.
    * Handle the Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
    * Prepare the financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
    * Prepare and review the P&L and Cash Flow Statement
    * Creation of journals entries, including prepaid amortization, expense accruals, revenue, and depreciation
    * Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations
    * Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
    * Responsible for accounts payable and cash applications.
    * Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with accountants, suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts
    * Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested



    Requirements:

    * BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
    * 5+ years accounting experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reporting
    * System Savvy with experience working with QuickBooks or NetSuite is preferred
    * Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheets
    * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    * Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

    A tech start-up company in the Austin, TX area is looking for a VP of Finance to add to their team! This company is in a hyper-growth period and wants a strong hands-on leader to join them during this exciting time. They are ideally looking for someone with NetSuite experience and tech experience.

    What you'll do:

    * Overseeing a team of accounting and financial operations personnel which participate in an array of activities related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
    * Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc report to senior management.
    * Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs
    * Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
    * Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
    * Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
    * Coordinating, preparing, and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
    * Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
    * Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.
    * Managing cash flow.
    * Building the accounting department as the company grows
    * Interacting with venture capital partners and board of directors.
    * Draft financial statements, notes and disclosures, and MD&A
    * Support tax compliance work
    * Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
    * Draft and maintain SEC and external reporting calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence
    * Design, develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting
    * Assist with information for annual budgets and forecasts
    * Streamline the financial reporting process and improve information quality

    What we need from you:

    * 15+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
    * CPA Required
    * Experience working in a growing start-up environment strongly preferred.
    * Extensive experience working successfully within Netsuite
    * Advanced Excel/Sheets skills
    * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    * Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
    * Merger and acquisition finance experience.
    * Progressive accounting experience, including previous management
    * Must have experience in technical accounting areas such as consolidations, revenue recognition, foreign currency, stock options, and regulatory filings and reporting.
    * Successful professional work experience growing an accounting team

Over the past few years the business has grown rapidly and they are now in a position to bring on board a Senior Finance professional to help drive revenue and continue growth within their space.     Job Description

    In the role of Director / VP of finance you will be required to

    * Strategic Planning. The VP of Finance will "own" the company's long-term financial planning model. This model reflects historical and projected business performance, growth and process improvement inputs from senior leadership and is used for evaluating the organization's pace and sequencing of growth, gauging capital needs, and communicating the organization's plan for executing on its vision to current and potential investors
    * Own the Operational Accounting. The VP of finance will maintaing controls of AP, payroll, revenue recognition, billing and other operational accounting functions.
    * Work closely with department leads to update budgets and cash flows. Strong project management and organizational skills including the ability to coordinate FP&A activities across multiple functions
    * Liaise directly with senior management in the creation of ad-hoc financial analyses and business models for critical initiatives
    * Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and development of direct and indirect reports
    * Decision Support, as financial business partner to the functional leaders throughout the organization assisting in making informed business decisions with the support of financial analytics
    * Prepare management reporting packages for senior management.
    * Risk Management, you will create reports on downside risk exposure of value-based contracts and anticipate capital and risk collateral required to support these contract.
    * Business Analysis, you will be expected to execute on the work of the finance department and senior leadership team by developing financial models that evaluate 'what if' scenarios, profitability of existing

    The Successful Applicant

    * 7+ years of progressive finance experience with a background in technology industry
    * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required
    * Managerial experience in finance
    * Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP will be an advantage
    * CPA is highly preferred
    * Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures
    * Prior experience in M&A is preferred; prior IPO experience is preferred but is not required
    * Eagerness for doing hands on work while also providing high level leadership and strategy

This role will focus on the design, customization, and optimization of NetSuite solutions. Together with intercompany teams, you will pursue and deliver digital engagements and solutions to bring our client's digital vision and strategy to life.

    This organization is looking for a team-driven consultant with significant experience implementing, customizing, and hands-on use of NetSuite's Cloud ERP, including modules and features such as Multibook, OneWorld, Advanced Revenue Management, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash is a must.

    COVID-19 Business Operations:

    * This role is 100% remote until post-COVID-19. Travel up to 50% will be required following the pandemic.

    What does an exceptional candidate look like for this role? You have a strong background working in a project team setting as a seasoned consultant with a strong ITS background, complemented by strong finance and/or accounting experiences.     Skills & Qualifications

    * Comprehensive experience hands-on experience supporting NetSuite Cloud ERP implementations
    * Extensive and thorough understanding of NetSuite OneWorld, Multibook, Financials/Consolidation Process, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Revenue Recognition, and complexities of foreign currencies.
    * Robust, hands-on experience not limited to setup, configuration and, customization- examples include customizing forms, saved searches, etc.
    * Capacity to complete module configurations within NetSuite ERP system (ex. OneWorld Financials/Consolidation process, procure to pay, order to cash, etc.). You have expertise in creating forms, custom fields, dashboards, and creating saved searches, reporting, and integrations as defined by the scope of a project. SuiteScript experience is desirable but not required.
    * Experience in utilizing defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies
    * Extensive understanding of revenue recognition process (including Multi-Elements Arrangements) and extensive exposure to ASC605 and ASC606 (IFRS 15 a plus); demonstrated experience as a must.
    * Fluent in foreign currency topics (including accounting base currency, foreign currency transactions, revaluations) and international consolidation (including Cumulative Translation Adjustment)
    * Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred
    * SuiteScript experience preferred
