    Job Title: Senior Accountant

    Location: Sterling, VA

    Role Overview:

    We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in a growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine accounting tasks and month-end close activities, maintaining daily financial records, and leading the monthly close process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Post transactions related to cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets (tangibles, intangibles, construction in progress), inventory, and manufacturing costs.
    * Reconcile accounts at month-end to ensure the accuracy of records.
    * Assist with explaining fluctuations in account balances and identifying any discrepancies.
    * Ensure transactions are appropriately approved, documented, and retained.
    * Provide documentation for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
    * Communicate any issues to the Manager and seek solutions.
    * Perform any other assigned duties.
    * Play a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Qualifications:

    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    * 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a start-up or dynamically changing environment.
    * Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for NetSuite.
    * Experience with NetSuite implementation or transition is a plus.
    * Knowledge of intercompany and foreign exchange transactions is a plus.

    Requirements & Responsibilities

    * Previous experience with NetSuite ERP
    * Preferable experience within the manufacturing or wholesale industry
    * Work closely with the CFO to support Accounting initiatives for the organization; this includes general ledger, AR/ AP, month/year-end close, reconciliations, etc.
    * Support NetSuite ERP and continued optimization of the platform, alongside the technical team
    * Provide data analysis and run reports to share with senior leadership and assist with strategic decision-making

The Senior FP&A Manager will play a critical role in driving the company's financial planning, analysis, and strategy. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead financial planning processes and provide insights to support business decision-making.

    Responsibilities:

    - Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

    - Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.

    - Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

    - Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses to senior management.

    - Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide guidance.

    - Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.

    Requirements:

    - 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a start-up or dynamically changing environment.

    - Proficiency in ERP systems, NetSuite is preferred.

    - Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    - Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.

    - CPA or CFA certification is preferred but not required.

    - Experience with system implementation or transition is a plus.

    - Experience with intercompany transactions and foreign exchange transactions is a plus.
