    About the Role

    Our client is looking for a highly experienced NetSuite Principal Consultant to lead their global NetSuite practice. This pivotal role will oversee the administration, optimization, and expansion of our NetSuite OneWorld environment driving system excellence, supporting business growth, and ensuring seamless global financial operations.

    As the NetSuite practice leader, you will manage a team of administrators, act as the key subject matter expert, and serve as the bridge between Finance, Operations, Technology, and external partners. You'll play a critical role in designing scalable solutions, improving business processes, and enhancing visibility across global financial systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the global NetSuite practice, overseeing system administration, configuration, and ongoing enhancements. Manage and mentor NetSuite Administrators, providing guidance, prioritization, and professional development. Act as the primary NetSuite subject matter expert and trusted advisor to Finance, Operations, and Technology leadership.
    * Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies-such as AI and RPA to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
    * Develop and execute the NetSuite roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with strategic business goals and growth initiatives.
    * Lead the integration of acquired entities into the existing NetSuite OneWorld instance, ensuring smooth transitions and harmonized processes.
    * Oversee configuration and deployment of advanced NetSuite modules (e.g., Multi-Book Accounting, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition).
    * Collaborate with Finance and Operations to streamline key workflows such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
    * Ensure the ERP system is optimized for scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
    * Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end operational and financial processes to optimize system performance and data integrity.
    * Translate complex business requirements into efficient, scalable NetSuite configurations.
    * Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, consolidation, and compliance.
    * Continuously identify and implement improvements for workflow automation, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.
    * Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, tailoring messaging for executives, finance leaders, and technical teams.
    * Participate hands-on in NetSuite configuration, including workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and integrations.
    * Evaluate, implement, and manage partner SuiteApps and integrations (e.g., AP automation, expense management, treasury management) to enhance functionality.
    * Maintain system integrity and governance, ensuring adherence to best practices and controls.



    Required Skills & Qualifications

    * 7+ years of NetSuite experience, including OneWorld, Multi-Book, Intercompany, and Global Consolidations.
    * CPA, CMA, or a strong accounting background preferred.
    * Proven success in leading NetSuite implementations, optimizations, and M&A integrations.
    * Deep understanding of financial operations and ERP best practices.
    * Experience integrating third-party NetSuite solutions (e.g., AP automation, expense, treasury management).
    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across departments.
    * Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from design to deployment.

    Design end-to-end NetSuite architectures across Financials, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and SuiteBilling

    Support pre-sales activities such as demos, proofs of concept, and executive-level presentations

    Create solution designs, integration plans, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
    *
    Customize NetSuite using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics

    Manage system integrations using SuiteTalk, Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft
    *
    Oversee full-cycle implementations, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-deployment support

    Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and documentation

    Provide strategic advice on process optimization, automation, and governance

    Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal best practices
    Required Qualifications
    *
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
    *
    SuiteFoundation certification required; ERP Consultant or SuiteCloud Developer preferred
    *
    Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite ERP experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or architect role
    *
    Strong knowledge of Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Plan to Produce (Manufacturing)
    *
    Experience in solution architecture, pre-sales support, and executive-level client engagement
    *
    Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
