Inventory Accountant Position (Mandarin Preferred) - Remote Eligible
Overview:
Anderson Frank is excited to partner with a leading company in the consumer electronics and software industry. We are seeking an experienced Inventory Accountant with expertise in inventory and cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Mandarin is required, and experience with Netsuite is highly preferred.
Job Description
- Manage and monitor inventory and product costs alongside the manufacturing team, operating in both the US and China.
- Develop and maintain inventory management reports, track aging inventory, stock reports, component purchases, and costing.
- Regularly reconcile inventory accounts, purchase orders, receipts, fulfillment, and transfers.
- Serve as the primary communication link between teams based in the US and China.
- Execute period-close tasks including analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations; providing variance analyses and explanations.
- Support operational needs through accurate inventory management and supply chain transaction entries in NetSuite.
- Participate in the enhancement of processes and controls to scale the accounting function and protect assets.
- Manage and record intercompany transactions, and assist with related audits and third-party requests.
- Engage in weekly calls with international colleagues requiring flexible scheduling.
Requirements:
- You have at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in e-commerce or consumer goods, with a focus on inventory accounting for Chinese manufacturing operations.
- You are skilled in data management and analysis, proficient with Excel, and ideally have experience with BI tools and databases.
- You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to your work.
- You hold an undergraduate or master's degree in Accounting.
