    Controller (Nonprofit | ERP Implementation | Leadership Opportunity)

    A mission-driven organization is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations during a period of significant modernization and systems transformation. This individual will play a key role in strengthening accounting processes, enhancing internal controls, and leading the implementation of a new ERP system (NetSuite).

    This is a highly visible position partnering closely with executive leadership, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting to advance organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Operations & Reporting

    * Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions including AR/AP, payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
    * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
    * Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and external stakeholders
    * Manage regulatory filings and compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements
    * Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and automation

    Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

    * Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with cross-functional teams
    * Provide ongoing forecasting, variance analysis, and financial insights to leadership
    * Support operational teams with financial reporting and decision-making tools

    ERP Implementation Leadership

    * Serve as the internal lead for NetSuite ERP implementation
    * Partner with IT and external consultants to map processes, improve workflows, and drive system adoption
    * Oversee data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training
    * Ensure system capabilities support reporting, grant tracking, procurement, and payroll integration

    Leadership & Team Development

    * Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team
    * Establish performance goals, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development
    * Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment
    * Partner with senior leadership to enhance financial policies, procedures, and controls

    Qualifications

    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
    * 5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior finance leadership role
    * Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes
    * Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite implementation
    * Proven ability to streamline processes and improve financial operations
    * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
    * Experience managing and developing teams

    Job description

    A mission-driven nonprofit delivering social services is seeking an Interim Controller to lead day-to-day finance operations through a period of significant transition. This role will focus on stabilising the finance team following the departure of the current Controller, leading the annual budgeting process ahead of the July 1 fiscal year start, and serving as the internal project lead on a full ERP migration from Microsoft Great Plains to NetSuite. With a primarily on-site work model, this position is instrumental to the organization's financial continuity during a critical transformation period and offers a clear path to permanent conversion.

    Proven experience as a Controller or similar finance leadership role, ideally within the nonprofit sector
    Strong background in grant accounting and fund accounting, particularly with municipally funded programs
    Hands-on experience with NetSuite implementation as a client-side project lead or super user; familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains a plus
    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and bridge current-state operations to future-state ERP environments
    Self-starter who digs into problems, drives accountability, and thoughtfully redistributes team responsibilities during transitions
    Familiarity with file-based system integrations (CSV uploads/downloads) and comfort coordinating with external implementation partners

    My client, a fast‑growing brand in the health and wellness space, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help scale their wholesale and B2B operations. This role focuses on streamlining order, inventory, and fulfillment data across internal platforms and external partners. It's a highly technical, systems‑driven position that will play a key role in strengthening integrations, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving automation across the organization.

    Responsibilities

    * Configure, test, and deploy scalable NetSuite solutions spanning order management, inventory, fulfillment, and revenue operations.
    * Build, maintain, and optimize EDI and API integrations with B2B/wholesale partners using tools such as Boomi, Celigo, and leading EDI providers.
    * Lead cross‑functional discovery sessions and translate business workflows into clear technical specifications and enhancement plans.
    * Support initiatives involving inventory transactions, 3PL interactions, returns, adjustments, and multi‑channel fulfillment automation.
    * Develop technical documentation, train end‑users, and provide guidance to junior analysts on the systems team.



    Qualifications

    * 4+ years of experience in business systems or operations systems supporting multi‑channel or wholesale environments.
    * Hands‑on expertise with NetSuite, EDI integrations, and integration platforms (Boomi, SPS Commerce, etc.).
    * Strong understanding of order management, procurement, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment processes.
    * Ability to translate operational workflows into scalable system architecture with strong communication across technical and non‑technical teams.
    * Nice to have: Familiarity with core EDI transaction sets and an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve team efficiency.
