    Staff+ Senior Accountant- Brooklyn, NY

    As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. You will work collaboratively with the finance team to manage invoice processing, enhance system functionality, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    * Invoice Processing: Manage high volumes of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate entry, review, and reconciliation.
    * System Expertise: Utilize NetSuite and Coupa to streamline accounting processes, troubleshoot system issues, and implement best practices.
    * Month-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    * Accounts Payable Support: Collaborate with the AP team to resolve discrepancies, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies.
    * Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
    * Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to optimize and automate accounting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
    * Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and other departments to maintain seamless financial workflows.

    Qualifications:

    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    * Accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverage retail industry.
    * Expertise in NetSuite ERP and Coupa systems.
    * Experience managing high volumes of invoices with strong attention to detail.
    * Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
    * Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
    * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

    Required Duties & Skills



    * At least 10 years of NetSuite ERP experience

    * Experience at large, enterprise publicly traded companies
