Job Description:

Anderson Frank is currently working with a client located in Austin, TX looking to hire an Accounting Manager to assist with accounting duties, business operations, and the NetSuite platform. Roles and Responsibilities plus bullets

* Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as P&L, AP, and AR
* Prepare tax forms to CPA
* Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
* Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
* Maintain the general ledger
* Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
* Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquires from banks
* Reconcile cash disbursements accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
* Prepare and process payroll bi-weekly, manage all HR duties, including Texas Worker's Comps quarterly reports
* Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to appropriate accounts
* Provides outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
* File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
* Manages the purchasing and invoicing system
* Streamline and optimize Accounting and HR processes


Skills and Qualifications plus bullets

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field (required)
* Must demonstrate proficiency in NetSuite (custom reports, saved searches, fixed assets, inventory management)
* At least 3 years of related experience (required)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizationsal skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
* Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
* Experience preparing tax reports (sales tax, 1099, etc.)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
