Revenue Controller

My client, a mission-driven organization in the Data Safety industry, is seeking a Controller focused in the Revenue space to join their team! This client is excited about this new opening as they are growing in the federal sector.
This person will be a leader for their Virginia based office, supporting their ERP platform (NetSuite), Salesforce and data analytics. As a part of the team, you will work towards a shared vision and goal with your team to create innovative solutions to make an impact on the community.

Responsibilities
* Manage revenue recognition for system adhering to GAAP.
* Maintain ownership of system and support team as needed.
* Ensure accuracy in reporting adhering and ASC 606 compliance.
* Work closely in cross-collaboration with the sales and operation teams to ensure accuracy and support other leaders as needed.
* Monitor and audit any commission calculations.
* Create and administer accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Over 3 years' experience within accounting, with a focus on revenue
* CPA Certification Required
* Prior work utilizing NetSuite ERP
* Working knowledge of
* Must be eligible to get public trust clearance
* Big 4 experience ideal
