Responsibilities

* Supervise the daily functions of the accounting department, including oversight of cash flow, debt compliance, and the management of accounts receivable and payable.
* Oversee inventory and revenue accounting, maintain and reconcile the general ledger, and lead financial modeling and performance analysis activities.
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor and report on variances
* Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reporting packages for leadership
* Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and tax submissions
* Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
* Strengthen internal controls and refine accounting procedures

Qualifications:

* Background of progressive experience in finance and accounting
* Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting practices
* Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements and managing close cycles
* Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, required
* Prior work within the manufacturing and/ or retail industry

Requirements

Proficient in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros).

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Industry experience in retail, shipping, receiving, or distribution a strong plus.
