Job Responsibilities:

* Oversee the end-to-end financial consolidation process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring all timelines are met.
* Prepare and validate consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation adjustments, and investment eliminations.
* Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, coordinating with regional teams to resolve variances.
* Administer and maintain the consolidation platform (OneStream), ensuring system accuracy and data consistency.
* Compile and review consolidated financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and equity statement.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
* Strong command of US GAAP, with a background in public accounting
* Proficient in financial consolidation tools, such as NetSuite, OneStream, and Oracle FCCS

Senior Accountant
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 2 days per week)

We're working with a growing global organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in a newly created role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering closely with leadership, and supporting a broad range of accounting activities across month-end and day-to-day finance operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and confident supporting a dynamic business with cross-functional and international exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and related accounting activities

Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations
*

Help manage revenue accounting and support areas tied to revenue recognition
*

Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and other supporting schedules
*

Support ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and accounting-related requests from internal stakeholders
*

Partner with finance leadership on accounting queries, reporting needs, and operational finance support
*

Assist with budget-to-actual comparisons and related variance analysis
*

Help ensure accounting records are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable accounting standards
*

Work within NetSuite to support reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations
*

Collaborate with domestic and international colleagues across the finance organization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
*

CPA strongly preferred; MBA will also be considered
*

5+ years of progressive accounting experience
*

Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
*

Experience supporting payroll accounting and account reconciliation processes
*

Familiarity with revenue recognition / SaaS revenue accounting strongly preferred
*

Knowledge of US GAAP required; exposure to IFRS is a plus
*

Understanding of US tax/accounting considerations is highly desirable
*

NetSuite experience required
*

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*

Ability to work independently and manage ad hoc requests in a fast-moving environment
*

Prior public accounting or audit foundation is a plus
